Paul will explain how the Z Blok product came to Fleming + company Inc. as a white tube in 2008. No brand, no strategy, just sunscreen in a tube that happened to solve the eye-stinging problem. The product was formulated by a sailor in California who owned a pharmaceutical firm to solve the problem for himself. The presentation is about developing the brand strategy including the unique selling proposition, choosing the brand name, developing the packaging, defining the target audience and bringing the product to market on a very limited budget.
