Beach Soiree, July 15, 2010 - This year's fundraiser for the Newport County Chamber Community Fund was held at Easton's Beach Rotunda in Newport. Sponsors include People's Credit Union, Sayer, Regan & Thayer, LLP, Luke’s Disc Jockey Service, L&P Graphics, Inc., and CCR. The Chamber’s Ambassador Committee created the Newport County Chamber Community Fund as a way to recognize the many vital services provided by our local non-profit organizations. Donations are collected at monthly Business After Hours and at our annual fundraiser. The Newport County Chamber of Commerce awards grants to non-profit members who apply for and meet eligibility guidelines of the Newport County Chamber Community Fund. Golf Tournament 2009 - The 2009 Annual Golf Tournament was held on September 21st at Green Valley Country Club in Portsmouth. Over 100 golfers played on this beautiful afternoon. 2009 New Member Welcome Reception - On June 10, 2009 the Newport County Chamber of Commerce held a Welcome Reception for new members who joined the Chamber during the 2009 Recruitment Blitz. The reception was held at Newport Vineyards. It was a wonderful evening for all who attended.
