Connect Greater Newport Business Pulse Week

The Greater Newport Business Walk provides local leaders and regional stakeholders with the opportunity to engage with businesses to learn about challenges they might be facing, successes, and their aspirations for the economy.

Our first Business Walk was held in 2019 and a team of 80 volunteers visited more than 90 businesses in Newport and Bristol counties. This year, we are conducting a virtual business walk and interviews will take place by video conference during three days.

We will be targeting businesses across all sectors, including businesses that are based at home and emerging non-traditional brick and mortar businesses.

Information collected from the interviews will be developed into a report with recommendations that will be shared with all participants, government officials, business leaders and the broader community to help meet the needs of our businesses.
