The Government Affairs Committee (GAC) of the Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce is committed to reviewing, developing, and supporting issues that promote a positive, pro-active economic environment with social progress and enhanced quality of life. The chamber believes that laws and regulations should serve the public without acting as a detriment to business development and growth.

Ambassadors are important part of the Chamber of Commerce. Ambassadors represent the Chamber and all that we do throughout the Greater Newport community. They help educate members and potential members about Chamber benefits, programs, and services, serve the community through various initiatives including the Ton of Love food drive, advocate on behalf of the business community, and make strong connections with other professionals and business owners.
