Job Overview: SALTY Wine Bar is seeking an experienced server to join our team for 1-2 shifts per week

SALTY is seeking a part-time server who is available Saturdays from 3:30-10:30pm and to fill in for other shifts as needed/available.  This role will also be responsible for mixing batched specialty cocktails, and applicants must be 21. Great role for servers with an interest in bartending.

We are a pooled house with 3 servers per shift. Role includes Hourly pay + tips.

Must be team oriented, love food, with previous serving experience.

SALTY is located in Jamestown, RI.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and courteous manner
- Present menus and explain menu and dining experience to customers
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Deliver orders to tables promptly and ensure accuracy
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Process payments using POS systems

TIPs certification required; can be completed upon hire.

Qualifications:

- Must be 21
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is required
- Knowledge of wine, culinary terminology and practices is a plus
- Strong upselling skills to promote menu items and specials
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for order processing and bill calculation
- Sales experience is beneficial for suggestive selling opportunities
