Job Type: Full-Time

Position and Responsibilities:

• Print Design: Develop the overall layout and production design for magazines, advertisements, brochures, and reports.
• Creative Development: Create designs, concepts, and layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
• Project Management: Take ideas or verbal briefs from the Marketing Team from concept to completion.
• Multimedia Design: Create effective graphics for presentations, displays, and exhibits.
• Digital Design: Work with the Webmaster to conceive information architecture, wireframing, user experience design for both web and interactives, implementation using HTML/CSS, social media graphics and banners, static and rich banner ads, and email campaigns.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Director and other graphic and visual designers to distill complex scientific concepts into intuitive graphics and visual explanations.
• Asset Management: Maintain a repository of production-quality source files for various projects.

Qualifications:

• Education: Degree in Graphic Design or a related field required.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in graphic design, with magazine layout experience required.
• Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of graphic design management tools/software (Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Self-starter with a high level of motivation and follow-through.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines, often with quick turnaround times.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and output.
  • Reliable, dependable, and detail oriented.

Compensation: 

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
